Alanine Dehydrogenase from Bacillus cereus, Recombinant L-Alanine dehydrogenase is an A-stereospecific dehydrogenase that catalyzes the reversible deamination of L-alanine to pyruvate and ammonium. It is important for the geneRation of pyruvate during sporulation. L-Alanine dehydrogenase from Bacillus subtilis has a predominately ordered kinetic mechanism in which NAD binds before L-alanine. Subsequently, ammonia, pyruvate, and NADH are released in that specific order. Optimal pH for the amination reaction is 8.8-9.0, whereas it is 10-10.5 for the deamination reaction. The enzyme is inactivated by divalent metal ions and p-chloromercuribenzoate, mercuric ion being most effective. The inactivation may be reversed by L-or D-cysteine. Group: Enzymes. Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 2 from Human, Recombinant ALDH2 is part of the aldehyde dehydrogenase family of proteins which catalyze the chemical transformation from acetaldehyde to acetic acid. ALDH2 is the second enzyme of the major oxidative pathway of alcohol metabolism. Aldolase A from Human, Recombinant Fructose bisphosphate aldolase A, also known as Aldolase A is a glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the reversible conversion of fructose-1,6-bisphosphate to glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate. It is found in the developing embryo and is produced in even greater amounts in adult muscle. Aldolase A expression is repressed in adult liver, kidney and intestine and similar to aldolase C levels in brain and other nervous tissue. Deficiency has been associated with myopathy and hemolytic anemia. Recombinant human Aldolase A, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: Fructose bisphosphate Aldolase A; ALDOA; ALDA; GSD12. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 4.1.2.13. Purity: > 95% by SDS-PAGE. Aldolase. Mole weight: 41.5 kDa (384 aa, 1-364 aa + His Tag), confirmed by MALDI-TOF. Activity: > 1.5 units/mg. Storage: Can be stored at 4°C short term (1-2 weeks). For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or -70°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles. Form: Liquid. Source: E. coli. Species: Human. aldos-2-ulose dehydratase This enzyme catalyses two of the steps in the anhydrofructose pathway, which leads to the degradation of glycogen and starch via 1,5-anhydro-D-fructose. Aldose-2-uloses such as 2-dehydroglucose can also act as substrates, but more slowly. This is a bifunctional enzyme that acts as both a lyase and as an isomerase. Differs from EC 4.2.1.111, which can carry out only reaction (1a), is inhibited by its product and requires metal ions for activity. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: pyranosone dehydratase; AUDH; 1,5-anhydro-D-fructose dehydratase (microthecin-forming). Enzyme Commission Number: EC 4.2.1.110. CAS No. 101920-80-3.
