MK-7145 This active molecular is a selective renal outer medullary potassium channel (RMOK) inhibitor originated by Merck Sharp & Dohme for the treatment of hypertension and heart failure. RMOK is an ATP-dependent potassium channel that transports potassium out of cells. MK-7145 is selective against other cardiac ion channels such as Cav1.2 and Nav1.5 with IC50 value > 30 μM.
