Coli. 2-Phenylethylamine is a substrate of B monoamine oxidase, and derivatives of 2-Phenylethylamine are metabolites in other parts of the central nervous system. Increased levels of 2-Phenylethylamine are found following aerobic exercise. 2-Phenylethylamine is studied to determine the various roles it plays in the central nervous system and other tissues.
