Tablets containing sodium cylatate and saccharin showed no decrease in sweetness after up to 20 years of storage. Source and Preparation: This product is prepared by sulfonic acid reaction of cyclohexylamine under alkaline conditions. Commercially, sulfonating agents include sulfamic acid, sulfate, or sulfur trioxide. Quaternary amine compounds such as trihexamine or trimethylamine can be used as binding agents.
