| Native Rhodococcus rhodochrous Epoxide Hydrolase | Epoxide hydrolase (also known as epoxide hydratase) functions in detoxification during drug metabolism. It converts epoxides to trans-dihydrodiols, which can be conjugated and excreted from the body. Epoxides result from the degradation of aromatic compounds.
