Resazurin sodium (Diazoresorcinol sodium) is a non-toxic, stable, membrane-permeable blue non-fluorescent dye (faintly fluorescent). Resazurin sodium is used as a redox indicator, can be reduced to pink, highly fluorescent Resorufin (Ex=530-560 nm, Em=590 nm) in living cells. Resazurin sodium can be used for the detection of cell viability, toxicity, proliferation, migration and invasion in cells (human, plant and animal, bacterial and fungal) [1] [2] [3]. Uses: Scientific research. Group: Fluorescent dye. Alternative Names: Diazoresorcinol sodium. CAS No. 62758-13-8. Pack Sizes: 10 mM * 1 mL; 500 mg; 1 g; 5 g. Product ID: HY-111391.
Resazurin (sodium), indicator
Resazurin sodium, indicator is a blue dye commonly used as a redox indicator in various chemical reactions, especially in microbiology and cell culture. Resazurin sodium, indicator has unique chemical properties that make it an effective tool for monitoring changes in the metabolic activity of cells and microorganisms. When reduced, Resazurin turns from blue to pink, providing a visual indication of metabolic activity. Uses: Scientific research. Group: Biochemical assay reagents. Alternative Names: Diazoresorcinol (sodium), indicator. CAS No. 62758-13-8. Pack Sizes: 1 g; 5 g. Product ID: HY-111391A.

Alamar Blue
Alamar Blue is a safe, nontoxic, aqueous dye that is used to assess cell viability and cell proliferation and is supplied as a sterile indigo-colored liquid. Alamar Blue has also been shown to be a rapid and simple non-radioactive assay alternative to the [3H] thymidine incorporation assay. AlamarBlue contains resazurin and additional compounds to prevent the over-reduction of resazurin to a non-fluorescent product. These additives also slow the rate of generation of the fluorescent product. Consequently, the alamarBlue assay requires longer incubation times compared to resazurin. Group: Biochemicals. Grades: Molecular Biology Grade. Pack Sizes: 25ml. US Biological Life Sciences.
D-lactic dehydrogenase catalyzes the conversion of D-lactate into D-pyruvate while reducing NAD+ to NADH and H+. Applications: In the food industry, the primary catalysis is coupled to conversion of nadh and h+ to nad+ with diaphorase coupled with converting the non-fluorescent resazurin to the highly fluorescent substance resorufin to measure the content of d-lactate in food products. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: EC 1.1.1.28, D-Lactic Dehydrogenase; 9028-36-8; lactic acid dehydrogenase; D-specific lactic dehydrogenase; D-(-)-lactate dehydrogenase (NAD); D-lactic acid dehydrogenase; D-lactic dehydrogenase; (R)-Lactate:NAD+ oxidoreductase; D-LDH.
