riboflavin kinase The cofactors FMN and FAD participate in numerous processes in all organisms, including mitochondrial electron transport, photosynthesis, fatty-acid oxidation, and metabolism of vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folates. While monofunctional riboflavin kinase is found in eukaryotes, some bacteria have a bifunctional enzyme that exhibits both this activity and that of EC 2.7.7.2, FMN adenylyltransferase. A divalent metal cation is required for activity (with different species preferring Mg2+, Mn2+ or Zn2+). In Bacillus subtilis, ATP can be replaced by other phosphate donors but with decreasing enzyme activity in the order ATP > dATP > CTP > UTP. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: flavokinase; FK; RFK. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 2.7.1.26. CAS No. 9032-82-0. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. EXWM-3056; riboflavin kinase; EC 2.7.1.26; 9032-82-0; flavokinase; FK; RFK. Cat No: EXWM-3056. Creative Enzymes
CTP-dependent riboflavin kinase This archaeal enzyme differs from EC 2.7.1.26, riboflavin kinase, in using CTP as the donor nucleotide. UTP, but not ATP or GTP, can also act as a phosphate donor but it is at least an order of magnitude less efficient than CTP. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: Methanocaldococcus jannaschii Mj0056; Mj0056. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 2.7.1.161. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. EXWM-2991; CTP-dependent riboflavin kinase; EC 2.7.1.161; Methanocaldococcus jannaschii Mj0056; Mj0056. Cat No: EXWM-2991. Creative Enzymes
anthranilate 3-monooxygenase (FAD) This enzyme, isolated from the bacterium Geobacillus thermodenitrificans, participates in the pathway of tryptophan degradation. The enzyme is part of a system that also includes a bifunctional riboflavin kinase/FMN adenylyltransferase and an FAD reductase, which ensures ample supply of FAD to the monooxygenase. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: anthranilate 3-hydroxylase; anthranilate hydroxylase. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 1.14.14.8. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. EXWM-0932; anthranilate 3-monooxygenase (FAD); EC 1.14.14.8; anthranilate 3-hydroxylase; anthranilate hydroxylase. Cat No: EXWM-0932. Creative Enzymes
FAD reductase [NAD(P)H] This enzyme, isolated from the bacterium Geobacillus thermodenitrificans, participates in the pathway of tryptophan degradation. The enzyme is part of a system that also includes a bifunctional riboflavin kinase/FMN adenylyltransferase and EC 1.14.14.8, anthranilate 3-monooxygenase (FAD). It can reduce either FAD or flavin mononucleotide (FMN) but prefers FAD. The enzyme has a slight preference for NADPH as acceptor. cf. EC 1.5.1.37, FAD reductase (NADH). Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: GTNG_3158 (gene name). Enzyme Commission Number: EC 1.5.1.45. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. EXWM-1526; FAD reductase [NAD(P)H]; EC 1.5.1.45; GTNG_3158 (gene name). Cat No: EXWM-1526. Creative Enzymes
FAD synthetase Requires Mg2+ and is highly specific for ATP as phosphate donor. The cofactors FMN and FAD participate in numerous processes in all organisms, including mitochondrial electron transport, photosynthesis, fatty-acid oxidation, and metabolism of vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folates. While monofunctional FAD synthetase is found in eukaryotes and in some prokaryotes, most prokaryotes have a bifunctional enzyme that exhibits both this activity and that of EC 2.7.1.26, riboflavin kinase. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: FAD pyrophosphorylase; riboflavin mononucleotide adenylyltransferase; adenosine triphosphate-riboflavin mononucleotide transadenylase; adenosine triphosphate-riboflavine mononucleotide transadenylase; riboflavin adenine dinucleotide pyrophosp. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 2.7.7.2. CAS No. 9026-37-3. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. EXWM-3234; FAD synthetase; EC 2.7.7.2; 9026-37-3; FAD pyrophosphorylase; riboflavin mononucleotide adenylyltransferase; adenosine triphosphate-riboflavin mononucleotide transadenylase; adenosine triphosphate-riboflavine mononucleotide transadenylase; riboflavin adenine dinucleotide pyrophosphorylase; riboflavine adenine dinucleotide adenylyltransferase; flavin adenine dinucleotide synthetase; FADS; FMN adenylyltransferase. Cat No: EXWM-3234. Creative Enzymes

Riboflavin-5’-Phosphate Disodium Salt (Flavin mononucleotide, FMN) Flavin mononucleotide (FMN), or riboflavin-5?-phosphate, is a biomolecule produced from riboflavin (vitamin B2) by the enzyme riboflavin kinase and functions as prosthetic group of various oxidoreductases including NADH dehydrogenase as well as cofactor in biological blue-light photo receptors. During the catalytic cycle, a reversible interconversion of the oxidized (FMN), semiquinone (FMNH ) and reduced (FMNH2) forms occurs in the various oxidoreductases. FMN is a stronger oxidizing agent than NAD and is particularly useful because it can take part in both one- and two-electron transfers. In its role as blue-light photo receptor, (oxidized) FMN stands out from the 'conventional' photo receptors as the signaling state and not an E/Z isomerization. Group: Biochemicals. Alternative Names: Flavin mononucleotide disodium salt; FMN. Grades: Purified. CAS No. 130-40-5. Pack Sizes: 25g, 50g, 100g. US Biological Life Sciences. USBiological 1
