Source and Preparation: This product is prepared by sulfonic acid reaction of cyclohexylamine under alkaline conditions. Commercially, sulfonating agents include sulfamic acid, sulfate, or sulfur trioxide. Quaternary amine compounds such as trihexamine or trimethylamine can be used as binding agents. The resulting cyclohexylate amine salt is treated with appropriate metal oxides, and the corresponding sodium salt, calcium salt, potassium salt or magnesium salt can be prepared.
