taurine dioxygenase Requires FeII. The enzyme from Escherichia coli also acts on pentanesulfonate, 3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonate and 2-(1,3-dioxoisoindolin-2-yl)ethanesulfonate, but at lower rates. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: 2-aminoethanesulfonate dioxygenase; α-ketoglutarate-dependent taurine dioxygenase. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 1.14.11.17. CAS No. 197809-75-9. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. EXWM-0633; taurine dioxygenase; EC 1.14.11.17; 197809-75-9; 2-aminoethanesulfonate dioxygenase; α-ketoglutarate-dependent taurine dioxygenase. Cat No: EXWM-0633. Creative Enzymes
Taurine Dioxygenase from E. coli, Recombinant Taurine dioxygenase (TauD) is a Fe(II) and α-ketoglutaric aciddependent dioxygenase, which enables E.coli to use taurine as a sulfur source. The oligomeric state of the enzyme from E.coli is reported both as a dimer and tetramer. It contains a 2-His, 1- carboxylate facial triad, which is present in most members of the family of Fe(II)/ α-KG-dependent enzymes. TauD catalyzes the conversion of the amino acid taurine (2-aminoethane-1-sulfonic acid) to sulfite and aminoacetaldehyde. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: TauD; 2-aminoethanesulfonate dioxygenase; Sulfate starvation-induced protein 3; SSI3; alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent taurine dioxygenase. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 1.14.11.17. Purity: > 90% by SDS-PAGE. Mole weight: 34.3 kDa, His tagged. Activity: >170 mU/mg. Storage: Aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Form: Liquid. Source: E. coli. TauD; 2-aminoethanesulfonate dioxygenase; Sulfate starvation-induced protein 3; SSI3; alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent taurine dioxygenase; Taurine dioxygenase. Cat No: NATE-1648. Creative Enzymes
cysteamine dioxygenase A non-heme iron protein that is involved in the biosynthesis of taurine. Requires catalytic amounts of a cofactor-like compound, such as sulfur, sufide, selenium or methylene blue for maximal activity. 3-Aminopropanethiol (homocysteamine) and 2-mercaptoethanol can also act as substrates, but glutathione, cysteine, and cysteine ethyl- and methyl esters are not good substrates. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: persulfurase; cysteamine oxygenase;cysteamine:oxygen oxidoreductase. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 1.13.11.19. CAS No. 9033-41-4. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. EXWM-0538; cysteamine dioxygenase; EC 1.13.11.19; 9033-41-4; persulfurase; cysteamine oxygenase;cysteamine:oxygen oxidoreductase. Cat No: EXWM-0538. Creative Enzymes
