CyPPA CyPPA is a positive modulator of the small conductance calcium-activated potassium channels. It is selective for KCa2.2 (SK2) and KCa2.3 (SK3) channels with EC50 values of 14 and 5.6 μM for KCa2.2 and KCa2.3 respectively, but it shows no activity at KCa2.1 (SK1) and KCa3.1 (IK) channels. So it can be used for distinguishing SK2 and SK3 from SK1 and IK.
