Cefpiramide sodium
Cefpiramide sodium is a new Pseudomonas-active cephalosporin with a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity. It was more active against Acinetobacter spp. and Pseudomonas spp. It inhibited many Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant to carbenicillin, piperacillin, and cefotaxime, but it was less active than ceftazidime and cefsulodin. It also inhibited staphylococci and streptococci and had appreciable activity against Streptococcus faecalis and Listeria moncytogenes. Uses: Anti-bacterial agents. Synonyms: SM-1652; Wy-44635; SM 1652; Wy 44635; SM1652; Wy44635. Grades: >98%. CAS No. 74849-93-7. Molecular formula: C25H23N8NaO7S2. Mole weight: 635.63.
Ceftibuten
It is produced by the strain of Semisynthetic third generation oral cephalosporin. The activity of Ceftibuten against enterobacteriaceae which can produce broad-spectrum β-lactamase was superior to cefotaxime and amtriannan, the activity of Ceftibuten against gram-negative bacteria was stronger than cefacolol, but the activity against gram-positive bacteria was poor, and the activity against Streptococcus pneumoniae was only 1/8 of Ceftibuten. It is used to treat acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis (ABECB), acute bacterial otitis media, pharyngitis, and tonsilitis. Uses: Anti-bacterial agents. Synonyms: Ceftibuteno; Cedax; Ceftibutenum; Ceftibutene; cis-ceftibuten; Cephem; Sch39720; Sch 39720; Sch-39720; (+)-(6R,7R)-7-((Z)-2-(2-Amino-4-thiazolyl)-4-carboxycrotonamido)-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo(4.2.0)oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid. Ceftizoxime
It is produced by the strain of Semisynthetic third generation cephalosporin for injection. Its sodium salt is used in preparations. Cefazide can be used for parenteral administration. Unlike other third-generation cephalosporins, the entire C-3 side chain of cefotaxime has been removed to prevent hydrolase inactivation. It is quite similar in nature to cefotaxime, but is not affected by metabolism. Uses: Anti-bacterial agents.
