adenosylhomocysteinase The enzyme contains one tightly bound NAD+ per subunit. This appears to bring about a transient oxidation at C-3' of the 5'-deoxyadenosine residue, thus labilizing the thioether bond (for mechanism, click here), cf. EC 5.5.1.4, inositol-3-phosphate synthase. Group: Enzymes. Synonyms: S-adenosylhomocysteine synthase; S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase (ambiguous); adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase; S-adenosylhomocysteinase; SAHase; AdoHcyase. Enzyme Commission Number: EC 3.3.1.1. CAS No. 9025-54-1. AHCY. Storage: Store it at +4 ?C for short term. For long term storage, store it at -20 ?C?-80 ?C. Form: Liquid or lyophilized powder. Angiotensin A Angiotensin A is a potent endogenous vasoconstrictor octapeptide. It is a derivative of angiotensin II (Ang II) that differs from Ang II in having alanine instead of aspartic acid as the first amino acid. It shows similar affinity for AT1 and AT2 receptors as angiotensin II with Ki values of 1.6 and 2.3 nM in vitro. It causes pressor and renal vasoconstrictor effects in rodents by the AT1 receptor. It is inhibited by Candesartan but not by AT2 receptor ligands in vivo. It also increases inositol phosphate accumulation with a similar potency to Ang II with EC50 value of 6.7 nM. Synonyms: Ala-Angiotensin III; H-Ala-Arg-Val-Tyr-Ile-His-Pro-Phe-OH; Ang A; Angiotensin II, 1-L-alanine-5-L-isoleucine-; L-alanyl-L-arginyl-L-valyl-L-tyrosyl-L-isoleucyl-L-histidyl-L-prolyl-L-phenylalanine. Grade: ≥95%. CAS No. 51833-76-2. Molecular formula: C49H71N13O10. Mole weight: 1002.18. BOC Sciences
AR 244555 AR 244555 is an inverse agonist of Mas G-protein signaling (IC50 values 186 and 348 nM in human and rat inositol phosphatase (IP) Gq coupling assays respectively). AR 244555 inhibited inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate accumulation in AdMas-infected cells and attenuated the sarcomeric organization and cell enlargement observed in Mas overexpressing myocytes. AR 244555 caused an increase in coronary flow in rat hearts without causing arrhythmias, and provides protection from ischemia-reperfusion injury if administered either before ischemia or immediately before reperfusion. Synonyms: AR244555; AR 244555; AR-244555; (1'-but-3-enyl-5-chlorospiro[2H-indole-3,4'-piperidine]-1-yl)-(2,6-difluorophenyl)methanone. Grade: 99%. CAS No. 858350-62-6. Molecular formula: C23H23ClF2N2O. Mole weight: 416.89. BOC Sciences 6
