| Metastin (human) | Metastin (human) is an endogenous ligand to G-protein-coupled orphan receptors such as OT7T175 (also known as AXOR12) and GPR54. Kisspeptin-54 was initially termed as "metastin" because of its capacity to inhibit tumor metastasis. This peptide has been considered as the major product of the human KISS1 gene. It binds with high affinity to rat and human KISS1 receptors with Ki values of 1.80 and 1.45 nM respectively.
