Synonyms: Tenofovir Dimer; Bis((((R)-1-(6-Amino-9H-purin-9-yl)propan-2-yl)oxy)methyl)diphosphonic Acid. CAS No. 1607007-18-0. Molecular formula: C18H26N10O7P2. Mole weight: 556.41.
Bictegravir
Bictegravir is a novel, potent inhibitor of HIV-1 integrase with an IC50 of 7.5 nM for strand transfer activity. Bictegravir is a drug of the integrase inhibitor class that was copied from Dolutegravir by scientists at Gilead Sciences. Bictegravir also inhibits HIV-1 viral infection in MT-2 and MT-4 cells, CD4+ T cells, and macrophages (EC50s = 1.5, 2.5, 1.5, and 6.6 nM, respectively) without exhibiting cytotoxicity (CC50s = 10.3, 3.7, 13, and 29.8 μM, respectively). In 2016, bictegravir was in a Phase 3 trial as part of a single tablet regimen in combination with tenofoviralafenamide (TAF) and emtricitabine (FTC) for the treatment of HIV-1 infection. Synonyms: GS-9883; GS 9883; GS9883. Grades: ≥98%. CAS No. 1611493-60-7. Molecular formula: C21H18F3N3O5. Mole weight: 449.39.
Cobicistat
Cobicistat is a potent inhibitor of cytochrome P450 3A enzymes, including the important CYP3A4 subtype. It also inhibits intestinal transport proteins, increasing the overall absorption of several HIV medications, including atazanavir, darunavir and tenofoviralafenamide fumarate. Uses: Anti-hiv agents. Synonyms: Cobicistat, GS-9350; GS 9350; GS9350. Grades: 0.99. CAS No. 1004316-88-4. Molecular formula: C40H53N7O5S2. Mole weight: 776.028.
GS-7340 fumarate
Tenofoviralafenamide fumarate, also known as Tenofoviralafenamide hemifumarate; TAF, GS-7340, is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor and a novel prodrug of tenofovir. It is under development by Gilead Sciences for use in the treatment of HIV infection. Closely related to the commonly used reverse-transcriptase inhibitor tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (Viread), Tenofoviralafenamide has greater antiviral activity and better distribution into lymphoid tissues than that agent. Gilead has announced a phase 3 clinical trial evaluating a single-tablet regimen combining GS-7340 with cobicistat, emtricitabine and elvitegravir and plans to coformulate the drug with cobicistat, emtricitabine and the protease inhibitor darunavir. In a 48 week study comparing Elvitegravir / cobicistat / emtricitabine / tenofovir disoproxil fumarate to elvitegravir / cobicistat / emtricitabine / tenofoviralafenamide fumarate, the results showed the prodrug to be non inferior to the established agent, but at much lower dosages and with lower incidence of adverse side effects such as impaired kidney function. Synonyms: GS-7340 fumarate; GS 7340 fumarate; GS7340 fumarate; (S)-isopropyl 2- ( ( (S)- ( ( ( (R)-1- (6-amino-9H-purin-9-yl)propan-2-yl)oxy)methyl) (phenoxy)phosphoryl)amino)propanoate fumarate; TAF; GS734; GS-734; GS 7340; Tenofoviralafenamide fumarate; trade name: Genvoya. Grades: >98%. CAS No. 379270-38-9. Molecular formula: C25H33N6O9P. Mole weight: 592.54.
