Enterocin Enterocin is a potent antibiotic with broad spectrum activity against Gram +ve and Gram -ve bacteria. Enterocin It is produced by the strain of Streptomyces candidus var. entrosttaticus WS-8095, Str. viridochromogenes M-127. It has the activity of anti-gram-positive bacteria and negative bacteria, has the synergistic effect with streptomycin and chloramphenicol, and has the effect of weeding and affecting the metabolism of isoleucine.
